APPROPRIATE USE CRITERIA
In the US, CMS has mandated the use of decision support to ensure the appropriateness of radiology orders. The system integrates with the RIS and EMR systems to access factors already collected in the patient record and runs in the background to authorize or stop an order based on the relevant rule set.
